Privacy Policy
Effective November 2, 2026
This policy explains what information the SiteVise app (“SiteVise”, “the app”) and this website handle, why, and the choices you have. SiteVise is made by NC Studio (Can Van Nghi), referred to here as “we”. If you have a question, email ipachartapp@gmail.com.
1. Information that stays on your device
Projects, defects, photos, markups, saved measurements and settings are stored on your device. If you never sign in, we don’t receive any of them.
The app asks for these permissions only when you use a feature that needs them, and you can change them in iOS Settings at any time:
- Camera – taking defect photos, AR and camera measuring tools, room scan, light meter and similar tools.
- Photo library – attaching existing photos to defects, and photo-based tools such as the crack gauge and object counter.
- Location – map measurements, coordinates, compass and altimeter while you use those tools. We don’t track your location in the background.
- Microphone – the noise meter measures sound levels on the device. Audio is not recorded or sent anywhere.
- Motion sensors – level, inclinometer, vibration meter and similar tools, processed on the device.
- Notifications – optional; see section 3.
2. Information stored in the cloud when you sign in
Signing in is optional. You can sign in with Apple or with Google to back up your projects, open them on another device and share them with your team. When you do, we store:
- Account details: a user ID from the sign-in provider, your email address and your name (if the provider shares them). With Sign in with Apple you can choose to hide your email.
- Project content for the projects you create or join: project name, address, client/owner name, description and dates; defects with their title, description, location, type, priority, status, due date and any assignee name and phone number you enter; and the photos attached to them.
- Team information: who is a member of each project and their role (owner, editor or viewer), invitations, and the email addresses of people you invite by email.
This data is stored on Cloudflare (Workers, D1 database and R2 storage), which runs our server. It is visible to the members of the project it belongs to, according to their role. Anyone who has a project’s invite link can join that project, so share links only with people you trust; the project owner can reset the link at any time.
3. Service providers
The app uses the following providers. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
| Provider | What for | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase Authentication (Google) | Sign in with Apple or Google | User ID, email, name, sign-in tokens |
| Google Sign-In | Signing in with a Google account | Google account ID, email, name |
| Sign in with Apple | Signing in with an Apple ID | Apple user ID, email (or a private relay address), name |
| Firebase Analytics (Google) | Understanding which features are used so we can improve them | App usage events (such as screens viewed and features used), device and app information, an app-instance identifier |
| Firebase Crashlytics (Google) | Finding and fixing crashes | Crash logs, device model, OS version, app state at the time of the crash |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) | Push notifications, if you allow them | A device push token |
| Google Maps SDK | Map display for map measurements | Map requests, which include the area being viewed |
| RevenueCat | Managing SiteVise Pro subscriptions | An anonymous app user ID, purchase and subscription history |
| Apple App Store | Payments for subscriptions | Handled by Apple; we never see your payment details |
| Cloudflare | Our server, database and photo storage; hosting this website | The cloud data described in section 2; standard request logs |
Privacy policies: Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple, Cloudflare.
4. How we use information
- To provide the app’s features, including sync, backup and team sharing.
- To keep the app working and fix problems (crash reports).
- To understand how features are used and improve them (analytics).
- To manage your subscription.
- To answer you when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and the app contains no ads.
5. How long we keep it
- Data on your device stays until you delete it or delete the app.
- Cloud data is kept while your account exists. When a project owner deletes a cloud project, its photos are deleted from storage and the project is marked as deleted so it disappears from every member’s devices.
- Analytics and crash data are kept by Google according to Firebase’s retention settings.
6. Deleting your account
In the app, open Settings, tap your account to open your profile, then tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your SiteVise account and sign-in, the cloud projects you own and their photos (for everyone you shared them with), and removes you from projects you joined. Projects stored only on your device stay there until you delete them or the app. If you signed in with Apple, you are asked to confirm with Apple so the app can revoke its access.
You can also ask us to delete your data, or to give you a copy of it, by emailing ipachartapp@gmail.com from the address on your account.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or privacy laws in other countries), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict some processing. Email us to use these rights; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Children
SiteVise is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We don’t knowingly collect their data.
9. Security and transfers
Data between the app and our server is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access to each project is checked on the server for every request. Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States.
10. This website
sitevise.app does not use cookies, analytics or trackers. Cloudflare, which hosts it, keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the service.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app for significant changes.
